May 2017

Happy May!!!!

Hope this letter finds you enjoying some warmer weather and a transition from the dreary winter months to the happy spring/summer!
If you've followed the newsletters and Facebook posts you'll know that this weekend is Bloomsday.  I had started running and preparing because this was the first Bloomsday I was going to do (I'd always said I'd do Bloomsday by the time I was 50).  So things were going along great, I was getting my miles up, the times were decent for a first time runner.

Then it…

April 2017

Is it already April???

Spring is here?

Are we really almost 1/3 of the way through the year?

It’s a cool time of year.  For all the sports junkies the NCAA mens basketball championship (which features the Spokane based Gonzaga Bulldogs!!) is today, baseball had it’s opening games Sunday, with another full slate of openers today.  For the outdoors people - the weather is getting better, folks are starting to do things outside.. spring has sprung!!

It’s a fun time of year, hope springs eternal in all phases…

Happy March

Happy March!

Wow! Where has the month gone? Ron has been busy so I am taking the helm this month.

Ron had fun mini tour/vacation at the beginning of the month. He had gigs in Portland, OR, Santa Cruz, CA and Salt Lake City, UT. He also had a unique opportunity to visit Teton Guitars in Idaho Falls, ID, more on that below.

Ron loves being on the road. Meeting new people and seeing old friends are what make the tours so fun.  This trip he was able to be in Arizona for a 25 year reunion of the church we grew up…Read more

Februrary 2017

Happy February!!

How are you doing??  How are the changing times that we are living in treating you??  Is everything ok in your world?

I’m not here to talk politics!  (Thank goodness!)  As we move into another era of leadership in our nation - there are changes taking place in hearts and lives.  For musicians this changing landscape can be something great.  Music is something that people tend to gravitate to, it defines their moods, it enhances activities… people are forever recording memories - good and…Read more

I am in the process of setting up…

Christmas Time 2016

I hope you’re recovering from your food comas!  While I didn’t get a food coma, I did enjoy some time off.  I’m excited for the busy Christmas time activities and look forward to the coming new year.

I don’t really have a lot to share this month. Know as we come upon this time of year many are hurting and depressed - and with all the craziness of the politics all I can say is... Be kind to each other.  Live a life of love, be mindful of those around you and when you can give a helping hand.

Playing for Inland Northwest SIDS/SUID Foundation

This past weekend I got the opportunity to perform for a wonderful non-profit organization that I’ve done things for over the past 3 years.  Inland Northwest SIDS/SUID Foundation is organization that is dedicated to reducing the risk of sudden infant deaths through various education opportunities.
I’ve never lost a child so why would this organization matter to me?  As a father I could never imagine the pain or loss that these people of gone through, in meeting the founder – Liz at one of their…

October 2016

Greetings everyone!!

Fall is officially here!!!  As I get my head back into playing after having the last 9 days off, I reflect on the spring/summer and  smile.  It’s been a good few months musically.  The release of the video, finishing and releasing the CD along with the CD release shows.  Now Autumn is upon us, I look to the “slow” months and forward to the challenge of keeping this momentum going.

The challenges of trying to find venues for the band to play.  The challenge of trying to get this music…Read more
